Steve Myers is founder and principal of Bluebird Operating Co., an advisory firm grounded in executive and P&L leadership that works with owners, senior management, and investors in premium wine and beverage alcohol. For nearly two decades, he was president of the wine portfolios at Distinguished Vineyards (Argyle, MacRostie, Markham, TEXTBOOK) and The Wonderful Company (JUSTIN, Lewis Cellars, Landmark). At both companies, he built premium brands by aligning consumer demand with trade advocacy, and created differentiated routes to market serving wholesale, direct-to-consumer, and export channels. Through his practice, Steve looks at the whole system through an operator’s lens—strategy, commercial, operations, and organization—to find where value is created, where it leaks, and how to capture more of it.
